Cabot Phillips to young Americans: Volunteer to be a poll worker on Election Day
- Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips is urging young Americans to sign up to become poll workers this November.
- "We cannot have a functioning democracy if everyone's voice is not heard," Phillips said.
Tuesday is National Poll Worker Recruitment Day, and Campus Reform Editor-in-Chief Cabot Phillips is taking the opportunity to encourage young Americans across the country to sign up to work the polls on Election Day.
Noting how older Americans have traditionally served in these roles, but are hesitant to do so in 2020 because of the risk posed by the coronavirus, Phillips is calling on college students and young citizens in all 50 states to step up and serve their country.
